
An enchanting place out of time. The Amazon Rain forest located in South America encompasses territory belonging to nine nations. Those nations are Brazil. Peru. Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Boliva, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guana.The Amazon represents over half of the planet’s remaining rainforests, and it comprises the largest and most species-rich tract of tropical rainforest in the world. Reflecting environmental conditions as well as past human influence, the Amazon is made up of an assortment of ecosystems and vegetation types including rainforests, seasonal forests, deciduous forests, flooded forests, and savannas. Today, one and one-half acres of rainforest are lost every second with tragic consequences for both developing and industrial countries. Make sure you see the rainforest before its gone!
